Finally! Documentary video about us working in Cuba!

Over two trips in the Summer of 2012, what ended up being almost 6 weeks total, I accompanied Andres Serrano to Cuba for an amazing working trip.  We went on Artist's Visa and flew directly from New York.  In Cuba we travelled to remote mountaintops and beach villages as well as all over Havana and other major cities.  We photographed important contemporary and historical figures - intellectuals, writers, athletes, artists, actors, film directors as well as the son of Fidel Castro and daughter of Raul Castro.  And the common person from farmers to cooks to exterminators to mothers.  We shot hundreds of portraits and scenes.  VICE made a great little film about the trip, it's 40 minutes:  http://www.vice.com/vice-special/serrano-shoots-cuba-full-length.

Not something you hear everyday.  Mariella Castro and Serrano...

Yes, that's right.

So, we shot the son of Fidel Castro and the daughter of Raul Castro, but couldn't get to the two biggies.  I'm on indefinite call to fly down if we are invited the shoot one or both of them!

Lot's of fun, work, heat exhaustion and delirium.  Now watch the movie!  http://www.vice.com/vice-special/serrano-shoots-cuba-full-length
